SMEs have always played an important role in Malaysia’s goal towards a high income nation. With this goal in place, these SMEs would require much support from professional accountants and advisors; that is why our late founder, Mr. S.C. Wong saw and captured this opportunity in 1972, by forming WSC Secretarial & Consultancy Services which would later be known as Wong & Partners Consultancy Sdn Bhd.
The goal was simple – to grow together with these SMEs, and provide them with quality services with the highest efficiency, and minimum hassle.
Mr. Wong had formed the company with only a handful of staff, and had now expanded to a larger team of professionals that would cover a wide range of corporate services that covers accounting, personal and corporate taxation, corporate secretary, payroll, management consultancy, intellectual property support and financial planning support.
As an individual, Mr S.C. Wong was a kind, though strict and disciplined leader. He had always insisted upon the highest standards of professionalism among his employees. Often regarded as a father figure, he was charismatic and highly respected. He was a philanthropist and had placed tremendous effort on charitable work and the helping out those in needs. The legacy of his compassion and kindness remains today.
